Caught on video in the wild by Jacob, an avid supporter of TFL, is the 2017 Lincoln Continental, which is probably close to wrapping up its high-mileage durability tests. The all-new Lincoln Continental is targeted to go on sale Fall 2016 with prices starting at $45,000.
Lincoln’s flagship luxury sedan will offer a choice of three engines, including a 300 horsepower 3.7-liter naturally aspirated V6 in both front- and all-wheel drive configurations, a 335 horsepower 2.7-liter turbocharged Ecoboost V6 in FWD and AWD, and a range-topping 400 horsepower twin-turbo 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 that will be offered exclusively with a more advanced AWD system featuring Dynamic Torque Vectoring.
Buyers will have a choice of four available trims named ‘Premiere’ (only for the 3.7L V6), ‘Select’ (for the 3.7L V6 and 2.7L V6), ‘Reserve’ (for the 2.7L V6 and 3.0L V6) and ‘Black Label’ (for the two Ecoboost engines), while Lincoln offers five optional packages, ranging from the $695 Climate Package for Select, Reserve, and Black Label trims, to the $5,000 Luxury Package for the Reserve.
