The Nissan Heritage Classic Car Collection is a time capsule of the recent past of both Nissan and Datsun cars. The Nissan Heritage Classic Car Collection is housed at the basement of the Lane Motor Museum in Nissan’s American hometown of Nashville Tennessee.

In this TFLClassics video you can take an insider’s guided tour of the cool Nissan and Datsun cars that helped build the Japanesse brand in the United States over the last 5o years.

There are of course both classic Nissan and Datsun cars and trucks, and plenty of classic Z cars. In fact the collection is currently not open to to the public but instead in the process of getting a refurbished new home in the Lane Motor Museum.

Roman recently had the chance to tour the Nissan Heritage Classic Car Collection which even includes prototype cars and even the first Nissan car (job 1) ever built in the United States. Perhaps the crown in the jewel of the collection is Yutaka Katayama personal Z car. Mr. K (as he was better known in the United States) is considered the father of the legendary 240 Z. The Nissan Heritage Classic Car Collection contains his canary yellow Z that served as his daily commuter car in California where he worked as an executive officer for Nissan.
