Roman is on location near Reykjavik, Iceland and, during a brief stint of daylight, put together a video postcard on the 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport. While the wind is howling and the temperatures are remarkably warm, this is a truly beautiful place in which to exploit the newest Disco’s legendary off-road capability.
Watch Roman’s video postcard below to see just how fun (and capable) the 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport has been in the snow so far:
Powered by a familiar 2.0-L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the new Discovery Sport offers 240 HP and 250 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel-drive, power is adequate in just about any on- or off-road situation.
Plus, with Terrain Response and a new multilink rear suspension setup, the 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport is equally flexible and agile on all surfaces. Flexibility is also enhanced by way of an available “5+2” seating configuration, offering third-row occupants a fair amount of room.
With a starting MSRP of $37,995 (including destination), the 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport offers flexibility, exclusivity, and the company’s hallmark off-road capability at a solid price point. Expect availability by mid-2015, with other Land Rover models including the LR4’s replacement debuting shortly thereafter.
