2016 Cadillac CTS-V sedan prototype

We have waited a long time for the high-powered 2016 Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V sedans. It takes time to design and tune this performance machines, and it looks like our wait is nearly over. These camouflaged prototypes were caught high altitude testing in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. These have all the signs of the potent V versions: beefy low profile tires, low stance, and quad exhausts out back.

When these sedans come to market, they will go head-to-head against the Audi RS, BMW M, and Mercedes AMG machines. This is a tough company, but Cadillac has the choice of hardware to throw at the competition. The CTS-V may produce north of 600 horsepower from the supercharged 6.2L V8 that can also be found in the 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06.
