The facelifted 2024 Nissan Rogue gets a fresher look and a slightly higher price tag.
Nissan’s compact crossover outsells each other model in the lineup by at least two-to-one, and this 2024 model brings some small but notable quality of life changes to keep that momentum going. The changes mainly boil down to styling and tech updates, while the fundamental details like the powertrain and trims remain the same. Pricing for the refreshed Rogue starts at $29,685 (including Nissan’s $1,365 destination fee), which starts off $410 higher than last year’s model.
The 2024 Nissan Rogue gets updated front and rear fascias, including a more prominent V-Motion grille with a slimmer grille surround and new inner taillights. The top-end Platinum trim goes a bit further, offering up new 19-inch wheels, gloss-black fenders and front-end trim pieces and an available chestnut brown interior.
Speaking of the interior, that’s where you’ll see the more prominent changes on some 2024 Nissan Rogue trims. The base S and mid-range SV models still get an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. SL and Platinum trims, on the other hand, get a new 12.3-inch infoainment setup with Google built-in, placing commonly used features like the Google Assistant and Google Maps in-hand without having to pair your phone up (though this time you can wirelessly connect to Android Auto/Apple CarPlay as well).
Nissan Safety Shield 360 is still standard across the entire Rogue lineup, including automatic emergency braking, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, high beam assist and automatic rear braking in parking situations. ProPilot Assist 1.1 is available on the upper SL and Platinum trims, which uses navigation data to proactively adjust the car’s speed ahead of freeway interchanges and curves, unlike the older version.
Under the hood, all 2024 Nissan Rogue models still use a 1.5-liter, turbocharged three-cylinder engine putting out 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. Power makes its way to the front wheels or all four through Nissan’s Xtronic CVT. Unlike some other crossovers in its class like the Mazda CX-5, you can also still choose either FWD or AWD across the whole range, from the base S to the top-tier Platinum. If you want all-wheel drive, you’ll have to budget an extra $1,500.
