British racer and TFLcar test driver Justin Wilson will drive for Andretti Formula E in the Moscow ePrix.
The race will mark Wilson’s debut in the Formula E series, which is an all-electric racing series sanctioned by the FIA.
“I’m really looking forward to racing in Formula E,” says Justin. “It should be something totally different. It looks like a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to experiencing the technology. Hopefully my time in the i8 will pay off.”
The 36-year-old most recently raced for Andretti in the Indianapolis 500. He has raced in Formula 1 and in CART, where he placed second in the championship in 2006 and 2007.
The Indianapolis-based Andretti Formula E team is in sixth place in the championship after nine rounds with 88 points. The Moscow ePrix is scheduled for June 4.
