While the 2015 Toyota Corolla remains the sales leader in November 2014 and for the entire year, the 2015 Dodge Dart improved the most over November of last year. Dodge’s compact sedan has struggled to make a big sales impression since its introduction. It brought an old name into the new segment. However, it sold 9,012 units in November, which is an improvement of 39%. This is at a time when the fuel prices have dropped and consumer focus is shifting to crossovers and trucks.
The other standouts were the recently refreshed 2015 VW Jetta and the mildly face-lifted 2015 Chevy Cruze. The Cruze is now firmly in third place, while the Jetta jumped into the fifth place for the month. Honda Civic has recently struggled, but firmly holds the second place. Hyundai Elantra continues to struggle and show double digit losses for the month and the year. The Subaru Impreza had a very poor month in comparison to last year.
