Which is quicker in a 600 foot drag race at mile high of elevation. Would it be 2015 Acura TLX with the V6 and SH-AWD or the 2015.5 Volvo S60 T6 FWD?
The new Acura TLX is the new kid on the block. It’s carrying a lot of responsibility, as it replaces two cars in Acura’s lineup – the TSX and TL. It show’s off Acura’s next generation of design. It’s powered by a smooth 3.5L V6 that makes 290 horsepower @ 6,200 rpm and 267 lb-ft of torque @ 4,500 rpm. And the 9-speed automatic transmission is putting power to the “Super Handling” AWD system.
The S60 T6 Drive-E is featuring Volvo’s new supercharged and turbocharged 2.0L I4 with 302 horsepower @ 5,700 rpm and 295 lb-ft @ 2,100 rpm. The supercharger works at low rpm and the turbo takes over up higher. This little engine is powerful and has no power lag.
