2015 Honda Fit

There is always room for improvement, right? The all-new 2015 Honda Fit shows us how to take a great idea of the previous generation car and take it to the next level. If you didn’t think it was possible to get more room from a compact hatchback package, Honda shows us there is a way. They moved the fuel tank forward (and more under the driver’s seat) to allow for a lower floor and better packaging.

Of course, they made the Fit more powerful and more efficient at the same time. The 1.5L EarthDreams four-cylinder now makes 130 horsepower and 114 lb-ft of torque and get 33 MPG city, 41 MPG highway, and 36 MPG combined when paired with the CVT in the base LX model. The 6-speed manual in this test car adds fun and delivers 29 MPG city, 37 MPG highway, and 32 MPG combined.

The magic rear seats are back. You can lift them up, fold them down for a total of 52.7 cu-ft of cargo space. You can lay down the front seats and recline after a tough bike ride or whatever you do. You can also fold the front passenger seat down to accommodate long items like skis or surf boards.
