Greg Tracy took some time out of his hectic schedule preparing for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb ahead of his attempt to run the race in Mitsubishi’s electric car. This year marks the 18th time Tracy has climbed to the top of Pikes Peak with the first 16 runs happening on a motorcycle.
He had great luck on a bike, winning the race a total of 6 times and being one of only two guys to ever break the 10 minute mark on a motorcycle. He did that while racing for Ducati but the last few years he’s been with Mitsubishi. Tracy shares his thoughts on this year’s race, talks about what it’s going to take to break Loeb’s record, and discusses the future of electric cars in racing in this exclusive interview.
Nicole Wakelin fell in love with cars as a teenager when she got to go for a ride in a Ferrari. It was red and it was fast and that was all that mattered. Game over. She considers things a bit more carefully now, but still has a weakness for fast, beautiful cars.
