OK so $196,800 may not seem like a bargain for the top of the line 560 HP flagship Audi R8, but it really depends on how you look at it.
Audi today announced the cost of the U.S. bound 560 HP Audi R8 GT and guess what?
It’s cheaper…a lot cheaper…than the same car in Europe.
In fact, the U.S. car is about $73,000. less than if you were to purchase the car in Europe.
What a bargain! So while we may not have the autobahn, we do get some pretty nice perks on this side of the pond.
BTW: in case you are in the market for a R8 the entry-level 4.2-liter V8 model starts at $114,200 and the standard 5.2-liter V10 goes for $149,000.
If you must have the best you should also know that the 560 HP flagship Audi R8 GT has a top speed of 199 mph and will go from 0-62 mph in a time of 3.6 seconds.
