Did you know that the Cadillac Escalade is one of the more expensive cars to insure because it is one of the more frequently and unfortunately easily stolen ones?
At this point you might be wondering….is it really possible to steal a late model Cadillac Escalade 14 seconds?
The answer is yes as the video below shows.
You see, like most modern cars the Cadillac Escalade has a chip key to prevent thieves from driving it away, but as this news story exposes that doesn’t mean they can tow it away or simply push it away.
The big Cadillac’s weakness is a weak shift locking device that allows thieves to just smash a window, and force the fancy SUV into neutral according to the Detroit news station that filmed the car being stolen.
