Cadillac matches Lincoln and offers free maintenance

It's called Cadillac Premium Care Maintenance and guess what?

Yes, it's a free maintenance program for all 2011 Cadillac models for four years or 50,000 miles.

But you probably guessed that…what you may not know is that GM is trying (and succeeding) in out-maintaining Lincoln which recently announced it would offer free maintenance for three years or 45,000 miles.

“Cadillac is adding Premium Care Maintenance as a way to extend customer service beyond the sale,” said Kurt McNeil, vice president of Cadillac sales and service. “The program is designed to raise satisfaction for owners by ensuring access to expert service. It should lead to higher loyalty rates for dealers by establishing them as a valued resource for our customers.”

Cadillac of course is not alone in offering free maintenance, the longest and perhaps most generous premium car manufacturer is Jaguar which offers five years or 50,000 miles, (with the caveat of course) whichever comes first.

BMW also offers a free maintenance program just like the new Cadillac plan which means it is good for four years or 50,000 miles…whichever comes first…of course.
