The 2012 Volkswagen Passat is about to hit the streets of America.
The newest generation of VW family sedan was designed with American car buyers in mind so it is bigger and less expensive than the previous generation.
It is also being built in America in a new factory just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee. It’s not as American as Apple pie and…well you know. But VW certainly hopes that the car will sell more than the previous generation.
At the press launch of the new Passat we had a chance to speak with a California based Volkswagen designer about the new look of the new car. Check out our first drive review below.
