The good news is – 2014 Jeep Cherokee Diesel will add two options of 2.0L Multijet II turbo diesel engine to its portfolio. Â The bad news – it will debut at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show next month and there is no word if or when the little diesel will be available in the United States. Â The numbers are: Â the more powerful version of the diesel will produce 170 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. Â It will be paired to Jeep’s 9-speed automatic. Â This is not all. Â European customers will also have an option to go with a 140 hp diesel and a 6-speed manual transmission. Â What? Â A Manual!?! Â The folks across the pond get the good stuff.
