Two new Fiat 500e variants — Inspired By Beauty and Inspired By Music — will join the lineup later this year.
After a four-year hiatus, the 2024 Fiat 500e is set to return to American shores, but the rollout is a bit different than what we’re used to. Instead of a whole trim walk, the Italian automaker announced just one model to kick off the launch: the 500e (RED) Edition. It said at the time more models would arrive later on, and we’re now at the point where Fiat is offering a couple more options if the first special edition didn’t catch your fancy. These two are called “Inspired By Beauty” (in Rose Gold) and “Inspired By Music” (in black).
Kicking off with the Inspired by Beauty, the Rose Gold color is exclusive to the special that particular model. It also gets body-colored mirror caps and a touch of chrome brightwork around the windows to set it apart from the other models. Inside, you get beige “eco-leather” seats, a soft-touch steering wheel and contrasting black eco-leather dashboard.
Pricing for the 500e Inspired By Beauty starts at $37,595 including destination.
For the audiophiles: A Fiat 500e Inspired By Music.
The 2024 Fiat 500e Inspired By Music model focuses on the sound experience, though it does come in a sharp Piano Black finish. This version gets an amplified seven-speaker JBL premium audio system with a subwoofer. “Big things come in small packages”, the company says of its special edition that “does not disappoint with decibels of clarity”.
The 500e Inspired By Music model also incorporates “Virtual Venues” selected by Andrea Bocelli. It comes with four unique options through the infotainment system, with each meant to represent the listening experience of a particular location: My Music Room, My Recording Studio, Giuseppi Verdi Opera House Pisa and Open-air Arena.
As far as pricing goes, the 2024 Fiat 500e Inspired By Music comes in at the same $37,595 as the Inspired By Beauty, while both special editions are slightly more expensive than the initial (RED) edition’s $34,095 base price. Both special editions should be available by the end of this year.
Underneath, neither of the cars change from the Fiat 500e (RED) in terms of powertrain. You still get a single-motor, front-wheel drive EV with 118 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. This new model’s 42-kWh battery pack enables a range of up to 149 miles.
