The 2019 Chicago Auto Show walk around with Nissan (who is one of the sponsors of the auto show) gives you a glimpse at a few of the many notable vehicles featured at the show. There are over a dozen vehicles and components that debuted at the auto show.
Among the vehicles featured in this video, Roman focused on the Nissan NV200 (Nissan Recon Camper), which all of us agree, could be an awesome glimpse into the “affordable” van-life/overlanding future.
We also orbited the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek edition, which is a outdoorsy-themed trim level and the 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport. The new Rogue Sport has exterior upgrades and a new safety system. Both vehicles were prominently displayed at the Nissan pavilion.

Volkswagen big news was the 2020 Volkswagen Jetta GLI. Basically, it’s a VW GTI with a truck, but it offers different styling and a slightly less aggressive appearance. We even get a glimpse at the 2020 Volkswagen Jetta GLI 35th Anniversary special edition model that has unique colors and badging throughout.
Finally, we get a good look at the Mazda MX-5 Miata 30th Anniversary edition. It’s interesting to note that 30 years ago, the Miata debuted at the Chicago Auto Show (February 10, 1989) . Quite the appropriate event to debut the anniversary model – no?
