2015 Infiniti QX70

The 2015 Infiniti QX70 is a luxury crossover SUV that immediately grabs your attention with its wide, swooping curves, impressive hood, and aggressive grille. Yet, there’s still something refined and luxurious to its looks, something that says what’s inside will be anything but brash.

This is a luxury crossover, and the interior feels every bit the luxury sedan. Seats are plush and adjustable to fit any driver and passenger perfectly with even the rear seats being comfortable for longer rides. There’s the ubiquitous analog clock that hearkens back to a simpler time, but above it resides an infotainment system that fulfills all of today’s needs.

Underneath the grand hood of this Infiniti is a 3.7-liter V6 that gives you 325 horsepower with 267 lb-ft of torque and it easily moves the QX70 on its way. It is quick off the line, leaving lesser vehicles in its dust, and at highway speeds it will not let you down when navigating heavy traffic.

There’s a sense of heaviness to the car, making it feel very sure and solid, but it is still surprisingly nimble with responsive handling and very tight steering. You may be driving a crossover capable of hauling a weekend’s worth of fun, or the groceries, or the kids, but behind the wheel, it is decidedly sporty.

And that’s the beauty of the Infiniti QX70. This is a luxury crossover. It has all the room and utility that one needs and expects, and it has all the luxury appointments as well. But it also offers a sporty, responsive ride that will make the trip a lot of fun.
