The Vee Dub: Bohemian Beauties exhibit showcases the worldwide hit Volkswagen represented. Details regarding specific models are thin, but LeMay – America’s Car Museum states that the Vee Dub: Bohemian Beauties exhibit will have (on top of their member’s and their own collection) three rare Volkswagens on loan from Volkswagen of America.
Ferdinand Porsche’s creation (aided in no small part by Tatra’s Hans Ledwinka – you can read about the Tatra {here}) has spawned a worldwide-dominating automaker.
“An exhibit sure to please, Vee Dub will feature several examples of German engineering from private collectors and the museum collection. Volkswagen of America has leant three rare and significant vehicles to the exhibit, making this a show you won’t want to miss.
The exhibit opens on Saturday, January 11th with a public unveiling at 10:00 AM. Members will enjoy the movie marathon in Club Auto all day Saturday with back-to-back showings of The Love Bug franchise and movie snacks.
Before the exhibit opens, you can share your unique Volkswagen stories with us on social media with #VWACM. Our favorite stories will be featured on a digital display in the exhibit. ACM invites you to take a trip back in time and experience the outsized impact of the little German car brand that could.” – – LeMay Media
