Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction from Scottsdale, AZ offers many surprises for any automotive enthusiast. 2014 Edition was no exception with some of the bidding going well beyond expectations.  The finals bids brought in what most experts are saying will exceed 2013’s total of nearly $109 million. Over this past week, there were several record setting bids with the Corvette dominating the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction.

It is noteworthy that Barrett-Jackson has a long history of offering the opportunity of bidding on cars with proceeds going to a specific charity.  Well over $60 million dollars has been raised over the years. There are several charities participating this year and final bids for the specialty vehicles coming in above their expectations.
