Infiniti continues it global strategy with the introduction of the Infiniti Q30 Concept at the 2013 LA Show. Â This concept was first shown at the Frankfurt show this September. Â Infiniti did not yet disclose technical specifications for the Q30 compact premium car, but the company hopes it invokes a positive emotional response and attracts a young and affluent customer.
Infiniti referenced industry research that shows this luxury segment will expand in the near future. Â This type of car is meant for a young professional who lives in the city and The upcoming 2015 Infiniti Q30 will compete against the likes of the Audi A3, BMW 1-series, Lexus CT, and Mercedes-Benz CLA. Â This is a similar marketing strategy being used for the Buick Encore, BMW X4, and Mercedes-Benz GLA.
Infiniti also pointed out that Q30 will be a competent performer, as it received design input from Infiniti Director of Performance (aka. Sebastian Vettel, aka. four-time Formula 1 World Champion).
