The Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept shows that, despite looming bankruptcy questions and slow sales, the Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept looks production-ready. Sporting a 375 horsepower V6 mounted mid-engine, the Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept is scheduled to go into production in late 2014.
“The Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept will make its European debut on 4 September at Salon Privé, the UK’s premier luxury automotive lifestyle event,” said Victor Muller, CEO of Spyker Cars. “We are delighted to share our newest high-luxury sports car design with the discerning drivers who comprise the audience of this premium event.”
The Dutch automaker has enjoyed minor success with vehicles like its C8 Laviolette and C8 Spyder. Total sales sit just below 300 combined. Despite fighting to stay afloat, Spyker will debut the Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept at Salon Privé.
Sales Director, David Bagley commented: “We are delighted that Spyker has chosen Salon Privé to host the European debut of the B6 Venator Spyder Concept. It is a stunning looking vehicle and our Concepts and Prototypes class is a very fitting backdrop to its premiere.”
Is it me, or does the B6 Venator look less Steam Punk-ish than the C8?
Prices for the Spyker B6 Venator Spyder Concept will be around $150,000.
