2014 Chevy Impala First Drive Review

The new 2014 Chevy Impala represents a modern version the classic big American comfy sedan.

Of course the big difference being that unlike Chevrolet Impalas of the 1950’s and 1960’s the new 2014 Chevy Impala is front-wheel-drive instead of RWD.

In this TFLcar first drive review we spend some quality time with the big GM ride getting to know the new Impala in San Diego, California.

With a 3.6L engine that puts out 305 HP, the new Impala is certainly not underpowered, but is it better than the old car which GM mainly sold to rent-a-car  fleet and commercial customers….you’ll have to watch this first drive review to find out.

BTW: You can also watch a 0-6- MPH performance test of the new 2014 Chevy Impala HERE.

Here’s GM’s take on the new Chevrolet Impala’s design, “From its bold, confident stance to its sweeping roofline, the all-new 2014 Impala is artistically sculpted for lasting impressions. It’s a striking departure from the status quo. The powerdome hood, wide chrome grille, projector-beam headlamps and available LED daytime running lamps project the bold new face of Chevrolet. The provocative silhouette, sculpted bodysides and a choice of 18-, 19- or 20-inch wheels contribute further to its dramatic appearance and head-turning profile.’ – – Chevrolet.com
