The 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG is one of the fastest most powerful four door coupes sold in America today. Mount Evans, in Colorado, boasts the highest paved road in America that reaches up to a sky caressing 14,240 feet above sea level.
The AMG Merc is powered by a hand built 6.3 liter V8-Biturbo engine that pushes the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG from 0 to 60 in 4.4 seconds. The speedy German luxury rode also comes standard with 518 ponies and 516 lb-ft. of torque which is need on top of Mount Evans as the altitude robs the car of almost 30 percent of those German ponies.
At an as test price of $112,585, this much style, power and performance does not come cheap. But than again this Mercedes is a very rare and model that you won’t see every day on the road…especial the rough and weather worn Mount Evans road.
