Nissan has just announced the third biggest recalll in the Japanese car companies history. A total of 2.14 million vehicles world wide are being recalled because they could have a faulty ignition relay that could cause the the car to stall of not start.
The fix?
Nissan will replace the ignition relay in a repair that should take under a half an hour.
Nissan thinks it will recall about 738,276 vehicles in the U.S. and 23,252 in Canada.
The recalled vehicles include the 2003-2006:
– Frontier
– Armada
– Pathfinder
– Titan
– Xterra
– Infinite Q56
– As well as previous generations of the Nissan Cube.
According to Nissan, no accident were reported from the faulty ignition relays, said Nissan Spokesmen Toshitake Inoshita.
