Tesla announced to those who have reserved the Tesla Model X that the electric SUV will begin production early in 2015.
The announcement came along with confirmed details about this new vehicle that include news that the gull-wing doors in the image above will definitely be on the production model. It will also come with standard all-wheel drive and an optional third row. The second and third row seats will fold flat to make carrying cargo easier, and the Tesla Model X will also be able to use the Tesla Supercharger network.
What Tesla has not announced is any information about pricing or exactly when the model will begin to ship to those who have reserved the vehicle. That information will likely be coming a bit later, but for now, check out those gull-wing doors!
